Thick, Impact-Resistant Clear Polycarbonate

Designed for the classic Honeywell round thermostat, this protective cover is large enough to accomodate a circular backplate, as shown in photo at right. Suitable for thermostats for which very limited access is desirable.

Crystal clear thermostat guard is not ordinary plastic or acrylic, but polycarbonate (the same material used in many eyeglass lenses). Polycarbonate offers physical protection because it is highly break-resistant. Thus, it is an excellent choice not only to help protect thermostats from unauthorized temperature adjustment, but from vandalism and accidental damage as well.

Non-hinged: once installed, guard must be unscrewed to access thermostat; intended for use with thermostats that are maintained at a fixed setting. Thermostat protector has open back with vented sides to allow proper air circulation. Comes complete with tamper-resistant mounting hardware and spanner bit. Exterior diameter 9-3/8". Interior depth at center 2-7/8". Clear. Thermostat not included.
