If the protected fire extinguisher is moved from its normal position (which pulls the attached cable out of its slot), the device emits a piercing alarm. Alarm may be set to either 95 or 105 decibels. Stop sign design and the words "STOP, EMERGENCY USE ONLY" discourages wrongful use. Includes deactivation cable for ease in servicing the extinguisher. Recommended operating range is 32ºF to 120ºF (0ºC to 49ºC). Uses one standard 9 volt alkaline battery (included). Tough polycarbonate housing, 5" diameter, 1-7/8" deep. Red.
